	Who Are Rural Resources - About Us Rural Resources was set up by Steve Evison in January 1997 in response to changing approaches to sustainable development. It became a limited company in 2003. The needs of all stakeholders (local and visiting) are now seen as being integral to the process of rural change. There is also a greater acceptance of the overlaps between the various sectors such as environment, health, community safety, planning, recreation, tourism and community development. Rural Resources provides a cross sectoral approach to development. Rural Resources is a sustainable development consultancy. We operate as a modern company, employing a core staff directly, with a range of associated individuals, businesses, charities and others to provide the right blend for the clients needs. We believe this is the future and, as always, Rural Resources intends to be at the forefront.We support sustainable development through the continual process of balancing the dynamic needs of the environment, people and economics. Through this flexible delivery approach, we can offer individual attention to even the smallest clients and contracts, whilst also having the capacity to work with others to manage or support projects which require larger financial cover or a greater range of disciplines.
